Camp Facilities

Welcome to the Pouch Activity Area's section of our website. In this section you will find information on the many different areas that we offer in camp. We cover all of your units needs. Please let us help you with your weekend program and enhancing your units skills. You will find that all of the areas are maintained and are staffed by a highly dedicated and well educated/trained team of individuals.

Camping Areas

John R. Young Area

Yellow Pine - This large cabin is situated in a very quiet area of camp. It sleeps 22 comfortably. This cabin is ideal for medium size troops who are looking for a rustic cabin experience. It comes equipped with stove top burners, heaters, dining tables and a fireplace. If additional space is needed Red Pine cabin and tent site E are right next door.		Lean-to's in this area: C1 - 4 Lentos C2 - 3 Lentos C3 - 2 Lentos C4 - 4 Lentos
	Red Pine - This large cabin is situated in a very quiet area of camp. It sleeps 22 comfortably. This cabin is ideal for medium size troops who are looking for a rustic cabin experience. It comes equipped with stove top burners, heaters, dining tables and a fireplace. If additional space is needed Yellow Pine cabin and tent site E are right next door.	Tent sites in this area: A - 24 people B - 18 people C - 16 people D - 18 people E - 16 people

Jacob R. Schiff Area

Black Oak - This large cabin is situated in the middle of our camp. It is right in the middle of all of our activities. It sleeps 20 people comfortable. It is a rustic style with water and latrine near by. It comes equipped with stove top burners, heaters, dining tables and a fireplace. If additional space is needed Pin Oak and Little Acorn cabins are right near by.		Lean-to's in this area: B1 - 5 Lentos B2 - 4 Lentos B3 - 4 Lentos B4 - 3 Lentos B5 - 4 Lentos
	Pin Oak - This large cabin is situated in the middle of our camp. It is right in the middle of all of our activities. It sleeps 20 people comfortable. It is a rustic style with water and latrine near by. It comes equipped with stove top burners, heaters, dining tables and a fireplace. If additional space is needed Black Oak and Little Acorn cabins are right near by.	Tent sites in this area: F - 18 people G - 16 people H - 16 people J - 32 people K - 18 people L - 24 people M - 20 people
Little Acorn - This small cabin is situated in the middle of our camp. It is right in the middle of all of our activities and is great for small troops or for Youth leader Training. It sleeps 14 people comfortable. It is a rustic style with water and latrine near by. It comes equipped with stove top burners, heaters and a dining tables. If additional space is needed Black Oak and Pin Oak cabins are right near by.

Major William S. Stewart Area

Maple Cabin- Is situated close to Berlin Lodge and our office building. It is close to our Lake and perfect for a fishing trip. It sleeps 14 comfortably and is equipped with electricity, stove top refrigeration, heater, dining tables and fireplace. It is right next to flush toilets and water.		Lean-to's in this area: A1 - 4 Lentos A2 - 3 Lentos A3 - 2 Lentos A4 - 6 Lentos A5 - 3 Lentos A6 - 2 Lentos A7 - 2 Lentos
	Beech Cabin- Is situated close to Berlin Lodge and our office building. It is close to our Lake and perfect for a fishing trip. It sleeps 14 comfortably and is equipped with electricity, stove top refrigeration, heater, dining tables and fireplace. It is right next flush toilets and water.	Tent sites in this area: N - 30 people O - 18 people P - 16 people Q - 24 people R - 14 people S - 16 people

Berlin Lodge

Berlin Lodge has a lot to offer in the way of meeting facilities. The building has two floors available for rent. The top floor is perfect for Courts of Honor, Blue and Gold's, OA events, Training Seminars and Council activities. The bottom floor is perfect for smaller conferences and breakout rooms for training sessions. Please note that this facility is not available for overnight accommodations.

Camp-O-Ree Field

Smack in the middle of our beautiful camp is a our Camp-o-ree field. It is 16 acres and can hold over 1000 people. It has it's own parking lot, Flushable toilets and a shower house. It is also located near a few of our activity area's. Ham radio, Archery, Nature, Field Sports, Indian village and the Amphitheatre are all within close walking distance. This field is perfect for Troop, District and Council events. We also hold our annual Flag retirement ceremony during the summer on the field.

Chapel

Located to the left of Berlin Lodge is the Camp Chapel. It is perfect for all faith worship services. It seats up to 80 people. The view overlooks beautiful Lake Ohrbach.

Picnic Groves

Throughout the camp we have four picnic groves to suit all of your group's needs. Parsons seats 80, Mills seats 100, Wright seats 80 and Goldman seats 120. The all come with picnic tables and BBQ grills. They are perfect for a unit outing and fellowship.
