Archery Range
The archery range is located by the
Camp-O-Ree Field. It is open by
appointment only. All range equipment is
provided, please leave your equipment
home, only camp equipment may be used.
This is a great area for all units to use.

great for a unit to sharpen their scouting skills.

The Pouch Camp Fitness trail... This area is located next to the Climbing Wall in the C.O.P.E area. It is a great troop activity that provides true fitness challenges. It includes a Beam walk, Tire maze, Over hand rails and the rope swing.

Attention all high wire enthusiasts. The Pouch
camp climbing wall offers the youth of your
unit a specific challenge that cannot be found
in most places in Staten Island. The wall
variesin difficulty from easy to hard. This is a
great weekend, team building or a day event.

Our waterfront offers a wide range of
activities. You can Swim, Canoe, fish and
row boat in our beautiful lake Ohrbach. All
equipment is supplied just bring yourself.
Merit badge partials can also be finished up
with advance notice. NOTE: Medical

This area offers it all: Basketball, Soccer,
Volleyball, Kickball, Whiffle ball, Softball and
ultimate Frisbee. This is a great area for Day
trips or weekend outing. Please book your
reservation early. We also recommend this
area for large events like Camp-o-ree's.

The Nature lodge offers a large array of
reptiles, ducks, turtles, rabbits, birds and fish.
This area is great for introducing your scouts
to nature.

Explore the various different area's of the
camp from behind a set of handle bars. The
Mountain Bike course spans all across the
camp and offers a number of challenging hills.

Take a trip back to the early 17th century
with a visit to the Indian village. This area is
located off the Camp-o-ree field. It is great
for unit picnics. Look for a Tee pee and
Wigwam during 2007.

All we have to say is two words....... Lake
Ohrbach.... This Lake is unique to Pouch. Fish
range from Large Mouth Bass to Sunnies. The
fishing area offers docks and equipment your
unit can check out and use. Note - All over the
age of 16 must have a NYS fishing license.
(We are Region 2) Please observe the posted
non-fishing area's through out camp.

few computers with Internet access. This is
great for the computer merit badge.
