Message from the Ranger
This past weekend Pouch Camp has celebrated its 60th Anniversary, and in     commemoration of
this we celebrated by having a second ground breaking. The ground breaking took part in the same
spot as the first groundbreaking 60 years ago. With the help of all the people in attendance six
scrubs where planted in front of the flag pole on Stewart Field. Each scrubs is to commemorate the
6 decades the camp has given service to the youth of scouting. After the groundbreaking Scouts
and Scouters alike helped raise 7 new flags in our memorial garden. One for the state, city, and all 5
boroughs.
We would like to thank all that attended and participated in the ceremony. We would also like to
give a special thank you to Frank from Four Season Landscaping for    donating all 6 scrubs for the
dedication.
