Message From The Ranger

Hello all hope everyone is enjoying Spring this is a busy time of year in the camp and would like to Thank everyone for all the understanding with everything the happens in the camp like to remind everyone that as of this time the fire ban has been lifted with that like to remind everyone that Ground Fires are not allowed in the camp at any time out side Fire wood also is not allowed in camp. Once again if you and your unit would like to arrive for early check-in please leave us a message and contact info so the camp can best work with you also if you have a unit trailer Please once again try to give us a heads up so the camp can best prepare for your needs. Once again it is that time of year to Honor all of our Men and Women who have or are serving our Country with their service in our Military so we NEED you and your Scouts in Uniform to Please help at the Memorial Day Parade and the Honor of Flags down the Parade Route on Forest Ave The Community of Scouting has come together and have made this a Great Day for the Past few years I hope we as a whole can once again do Scouting a good turn while giving Honor to our Military hope to see you all at the Parade Thank You All.

Please Note
	We have Several Rules and Regulations in Effect for the Camp For The Safety of All That Come to Our Facility and they Apply To All. All Outside Firewood is Not Permitted in Camp, I Will Repeat This NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD IS PERMITTED IN CAMP.     Check-in Begins @ 6pm, if you Plan to Arrive Early Arrangements Must Be Made With the Ranger By Wednesday. There are No  Unauthorized Vehicles Allowed in Camp, If you Have a Trailer you Must Contact the Ranger By Wednesday if You Would Like the Trailer at Your Site. Please Note Upon Check-in All Rosters and Tour Permits Must be Turned In Before Entering Camp. I Would Like to Thank Everyone For Their Attention to These Matters.
Firewood Policy
New York's forests are under attack from numerous invasive exotic insect pests. We have discovered Asian long-horned beetles, Hemlock wooly adelgids, Pine shoot beetles and Sirex woodwasps infesting New York's urban and rural forests and killing thousands of trees. Other, potentially devastating insect invaders such as Emerald ash borer and Asian gypsy moth loom just over the horizon. No Outside Firewood Will Be Allowed in Camp.
Tree Plantings
	Hey Guys We Still Need Some More Trees Planted Around Camp, There Was Many Trees That Have Become Badly Damaged  in The Past Couple of Storms, So We Need Your Help To Replenish Our Forest. If Your Unit Is interested Please Let Us Know.
